The Village of Ashton would like to remind residents to please bag leaves for pickup. The Village does not have a leaf vacuum and cannot pick up loose leaves.
This creates hazardous driving conditions, limits parking, clogs storm sewers causing localized flooding, and violates the Village Code. The fine for blowing or raking leaves into the roadway is $50.00 per occurrence.
Leaf burning is approved from 9:00am-6:00pm September 15th – December 15th. The Village’s last yard waste pick up day is scheduled for November 30th.
